The City Council met in regular session on the above date those
present were Mayor Woods, Aldermen Ben�dict, Pirkle , Huber,
Vandeventer, and Parker.
A moti �n by Ald�rman Benedi�t, seconded by Alderman Pirkle to
appo�t Alderman Hub�r to act as secretary in the Absent of City
�ecretary Floy Ezell , moti �n carri�d by Alderman Pirkle, Vandeventer,
Benedict, and Parker votiRg yes with no noes.
Minutes of the previous meeting was r�ad and �pprov�d as raad.
A moti �n by Ald�rman Pirkle, seconded by Alderman Vandeventer to
authorize �2.00 per day credit to be appiied on a fine if the person
is laying the fine out in ,jail and also authorizing �5.00 per day �
for eight hours work be cr�dited to the person fine if he works for
the city to pay his fine. Motion carried by Alderman Pirkle , Parker,
II�nedict, Vandeveneter, and Huber voting yes with no noes.
A moti�n by Alderman Benedict, seconded by Alderman Pirkte to accept
and adopt Ordinance # 63-10, closing and abandoaing a road situated
in the A. F. L�onard surv�y to the Origin�l town of Grapevine, Texas.
Motion c�rried by Alderman Parker, Vandeventer, Huber, Pirkle, and
Benedict voting yes with no noes. Compl�te Ordinance on file in the
Official Ordinance book of the City of Grapevine , Texas as Ordinance
No. 63-10.
Gasoline proposals from the following companies was opened and are
as follows:

Felts Petroleum �'ompany - .025
Gulf Oil Corp. - 6.01
Mobil Oil Cmmpany - .0596
Continental Oil Company - .0590
Sinclair Refining Company - 6. 11
A motion by Alderman Pirkle , seconded by Alderman Benedict to
accept the proposal of Sinclair Oil Refining Company to furnish
gasoline to the City of Gr�oevinc for the comia�g year. Moti �n
carried with Aldermen Parker, Vandeventcr, Huber, Pirgle and
Benedict voting yes with no noes.

Discussion was given on the ro�d l�ading to the dump grounds.
Annexation of Mr. Tidndle and Mr. Long �s praperty was discussed and
was postponed tc � later d�te.
No further business meeting ad�ourned.
