The City Council met in regular session on the above date those
present were Mayor Woods, Aldermen Benedict, Pirkle, Huber,
Vandeve�ter, and Parker.
The minutes of the previous meeting was re� and approved as read.
A letter from Freese, Nichols, and Endress consulting engineers
was discussed in reference to the conditio� of the over head
water storage tank and their recommendations was considered.
A motion by Alderman Benedict, seconded by Alderman Pirkle to
have Freese , Nichols b Endress to prepare specifications and `
bidding documents to repair and repaint the overhead water
storage tank as soon as possible and present them to the council
for their approvai. Motion carried by Al�erman Parker, Vandeventer,
Huber, Pirkle and �enedict voting yes with no noes.
Secretary wras to con�tact the City Attorney in reference to an ,
amendment to our Sanitation and Garbage Collection Ordinance.
To designate a place for storage of the garbage cans except on
days of collecti�n.
Discussion was given on setting some policies for our Police
Depa�tment to operate under more study was to be given this.
No further business meeting ad,journed.
