HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1971-036 ORDINANCE N0. 71-36 AN ORDINANCE AP•ZENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ZOIVING MAP OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, SO AS TO AUTHORIZE A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT ON CERTAIN PROPERTY OF TEXAS POWER AND LIGHT COMPANY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF TRANSFORMER STATION; AND PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE. WHEREAS, due and lawful public hearing to consider a r� Specific Use Permit on the below described property has been heretofore held; and, on the 26th day of October, 1g71, �. WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Comrnission recommended approval of the said Specific Use Permit; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS: I. THAT according to a site plan, to be approved by the City Council showing the general arrangement of the project, together with essential requirements such as off-street parking facilities, locations of buildings, location and sizes of all equipment and � facilities, sizes of buildings, all yard requirements, means of ingress and egress to public streets, the approval of plans and � specifications for a building permit, and subject to the follow- ing contingencies; l. A suitable masonry screening of the exposed aggregate tilt up type shall be constructed around the trans- former station facilities; 2. The premises shall be landscaped and beautified with evergreen shrubbery and grass, and maintained in a well kept manner at all times; A Specific Use Permit is hereby authorized for the construction of Transformer Station on the property described as follows: � � �rr That certain tract of Iand in the A. Foster Survey, Abstract No. 518, Tarrant C�unty, T�xas, containing 1.265 acres of land, being part af a 1�.52 acre tract of land, called first tract, described in deed dated October 2g, 1968, from Betty Grace Widener to James F. � � Widener, recorded in Volume 4637, Page 869, Deed � Records of Tarrant County, Texas, the tract hereby � conveyed being described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the East boundary line of the above referred �0 17.52 acre tract of land, said point being 247.32 feet �;orth 00° 28' 04" Ea�t from the Southeast carner of said 17.52 acre tract of land, said corner being in the South boundary line af the A.
