The City Counci2 met in reguiar sessian on the above date those
pre�ent were Mayor Woods, Ald ermen Parker , Vandeventer , Huber,
Firkle and Benedict.
The minutes of the previous meeting was read anQ approved as rsad.
Discussion was given on preparing an Ordinance t� �egulate a Trafler
Park.
Discussian was given an a Pro-Rata �rdinance ta requlate the extensions
of water and s�wer lines.
A motion by Alderman Pirkle , seconded by Alderman Hulaer to pay each
counc�2man �20.QQ per month and pay the May�r �15.Op per mortth for
their services for the coming year. Motion carried by Aldermen
Benedict, Pirkle, Huber, Vandeventer and Farker voting yes with no
naes.
The caunci2 disapproved the use of a pdice dag in the Po2ice
departrnent .
The Police department activities and operations was discussed by
the council .
A motion by A2derman Pirkle , seconde� by Alderman Huber to rafse
Hamp 'Scruggs sa2ary �1�.00 per month effective March l , i9bt�.. Motion
carried by Aldermen Benedict, Huber, Pirk�ie, Vandeventer and Parker
voting yes with no nt�es.
City was ta go ahead with p.�,ans to buf �d a Ball Park for the Little
League on the Lake unless other lar�d could be gotten som�where.
A motion by Alderman Pirkle , seconded by Al�erman Ben:edict to ra3se
Geo, D�aaring an;d Clyde Cheatham salary �1�,00 per month effe�tive
March l, 19b�. Motion carried by Aldermen Parker, V�,ndeventer,
Huber, Pirkle and Benedict voting yes with na noes.
