The City Council met in regular session on the above ddte those
present were Mayor UJoods, Aldermen Banedict, Pirkle, Huber,
Vandeventer and Parker .
The minutes of the previous Meeting was read and �proverd as r�ad.
The proposed Ordinance governing the parking of heavy trucks in the
residential area was explained by the City Nttorney.
t� motion by �lderman Pirkle , seconded by t�lderman Huber to adopt
Ordinance #b4-21 governing truck parking in the residential area.
Motion carried by Kldermen Parker, Vandeventer, Huber, Pirkle and
Benedict voting yes with no noes. Complete Ordinance on file in the
official Ordinance book of the City of Grapevine .
Discussion was given on buying two cars for the Police Department
by trading the 1g63 Ford in and keeping the ig64 Ford to be used
as an administration car. Bids was to be taken on these cars as
per specifications with an alternate bid or an additional price
for automatic transmissions and air co nditioners.
�, motion by Hlderman Pirkle , seconded by xlderman Benedi�t to
authorize the City Secretary to se21 the Electaic speed timer to
the highest bidder. Motion carried by �lderman Parker, Vandeventer,
Huber, Pirkle and Benedic t voting ye s with no noes.
t� motion by �lderman Pirkle to name the road east of and adjoinirzg
Mrs Ruth Hageman �s property, known as County Road 30l�3, to Ruth
Wall Road by Resolution #R64-11 . S�conded by �lderman Benedi�t.
Motion carried by �ldermen Benedict, Pirkle, Huber, Vandeventer and
Parker voting yes with no noes.
H motion by Nlderman Benedict, seconded by xlderman Pirkle to raise
City Seccetary Floy E2e11 salary �25•00 per month effective
December 16, 1964• Motion carried by �lderman Banedict, Pirkle,
Huber, Vandeventer and Parker voting yes with no noes.
Mayor called a meeti g for December 29, 1964 for a 2oning hearing
of Lots 1, 2, 3 in B ock 2 of Hilltop �ddition. Requesting a
zoning c�apge from t e present "BT1 Dwelling to ttJ-K" Industrial
District.
