T�e City Cflunci2 met in regular session an the above date thase
present were Mayor Johnson, Aldermen Kaker, Matthews, D�acon and
�ay�ard. A2derman Har�ell b�ing absent.
The �fnute� �f the previous meeting was read and appr�ve� as read.
Mr A. C. Stone discus�ed with the couMCil a refund to be given to
him for wat�r an� sewer lines put in Bel2aire Section "A" of arhich
the City had a contract with Mr. Guest to refund on this ��ction �
nAr� and the contract has been fulfilled with �r, Guest. Mr. Stone
advised the City th�t h� had furnished the money to Mr. G�est to
da this work.
Mrs Hu4h Warren met with the Cca�ncil asking for water service at her
reside�t Qn Dc�ve Road. The councii inforrned her th�t she w�uld have
to come into the City Limits before the Cauncil could furni�h water
s�rvice to her resident. Ai�c� her property wauld 2have tcr be
ad,�acent or cot�tiguous to the present City Limits and the City would
run 240r c�f 3i�te from their existing water main anc3 the prapert�r .
awner wauld have ta pay for the remaining part of the line tc� get
service. Mrs VJarrer� was agreable to this. Jim H�CECflCI�C was to aake
a survey of the size of lines in that area and siae recomrnended to
� put in and report ta the council fcrr �heir action.
The resignatinn of Mr. Bi 11 Pov�*ers frt�m tY�e Zoning Bc�ard was received
and a matic�n by A2derman Deacan, �econded b� Alderman Kaker to
accept his resignation and also send a l�tter to him thanking and
praising him for his service on the Zoning Board. Mc�tian carried, •
The property along Highway 11l� near th� Loop 10 ir,►tersection , belonging
to Mrs tuiint�ie Berry, Frank Robbigs, and Mr. Frank T`hweatt was �t�ned
to "G" Local Busine�s Di�trict by a mation by Alderm an Kaker, seconded
by Alderman Deacon, m4tion carried.
A motion by A2derman Hayward, secrrnded by A2derman I}eac�n to refund
the T.ancaster �� money �,hat was put up by them in an escraw fund tQ
put water and sewer 2.fnes in Ridge Crest E$tates, The amc�unt to be .
held o�t vri�#�bt is tra pay far the water and sewer lines in that
addition plus the resident engineers fees. Motio n �arried.
Councii approved placing "Stop Signs" at the intereection of
I�ain artd '�lall Streets, stc�pping an WaII �tre�t, alsc� stc�p signs at
the intereectiran of W. College and Church 5tr�ets, stcapping on,
Church Street, also Stap signs at rEhc intersection of Frartklirt
and Main Streets, stopping on Franklin street , and stop �ign at
the intersec tiQn of Wa21 and Barton street, stopping on Barton St. �i'�/-�
A motion by Alderman Kaker, seconded by Alderman Hayw`ard to set
the 19b2 tax at �1 .00 per �300.4Q va2uatio n, mc�tir�n carried.

Council approved Mrs L. L. Ballard to be given credit on her
Garbage collection ch arge as she is unable to pay for this
service. The Applications of �rs Ada Gallgher and Mrs Ora
Simmons was disapproved by the Council .
No further business meeting ad�ourned.
