Alderman Kaker being absent. Mrs Webster and her brother, owner of Lakewood Ares, met with the council asking that the city go into a sewer refunding contract with her in developing Lakewood Acres. The water line on Dove Road going North is a 1" line and it is not of sufficient si2e to serve any additional resideits. He estimated the cost of operation as follows: A man on duty 8 hours a day, Cost of the chemicals would cost approximately l.00 to 5.00 per day, and the power cost wouid run approximately the cost of the operation of the wells at present. Mr. 1Vichols ask that the city purchase enough chemicals now to test the plant before finl acceptance is giren to the contractors.
