Those present were Mayor Tip Joh�nson, Aiderman Mathews, narwell , Kaker, and Deacon. Alderman Hayw�rd being absent. The m�nutes of the prevbus meeting �as read and a�proved as read. Mr. Wendell Judd, C.P.A. �ith Parish and Murrell Auditors of the city books for the year 1961 , �et with the council to go over the audit report that they prepared. A motionby Alderman Kaker, seconded by Alderman Deacon to pay the firm of Parish & Murrell �650.00 for their services of auditing the City books. Mot� n carried. The apgrt�ent h�se being built on Worth St. �ill be charged for water as per the Cit� of Grapevine �s water 8 se�er ardiance , articles VII and VIII . The average water and sewer bills per month for each busine�s and the amount of deposit each has with the city ta be worked lup for informati on. Annexation petition of Nedia Jones wa5 not acc�pted, but Ida lU�ae � Jones was given permission to tie on to the City�� �ewer system. This was done by a motion by Alderman Deacon, $ecmidded by Alderman Kaker, motion carried. All water a�eters in the eolored section of town was to be checked to see if more than one fami2y is uffiing water thru the one meter and if they ha�re not made arrangem:e�ts to use this water with the , City the w�ter will be turned off until arrangements are made. A motion by Aldernaan Kaker, seconded by Alderman Mathews to approve the plans for the Anchor to Coatruct some smail boat storages, with the final approval of the corps of Engineers, motio n carried. � A proposed budget for the Park area was gor�e ouer and a motion by alderrnan Mathews, seconded by Alderman Kaker to approve the proposed budget for the Park area. Motion carried. A motion by Alderman Deaaon, secot�ded by Alderman Harwell to ' accept the annexation petit'�on of Mrs Sarah A. Hurst �s property along Wall Street thru to the Northwest Highwa� approximately ' 3.65 acres in the T. Mahan Survey. Motion carried. Complete � ordianance on file in city ordinance b�ok as No.61-29 � , The delinquent bill of lUlrs Carl Taylor was discussed and a mofiion by Alderman Kaker, seconded by Alderman Deacon to table this r bill until a later date.
