The Grapevine City Council met Tuesday Night, PJ!arch 22, 1960,
in a called meeting with the fol.lowing members present :
Mayor Tip Johnson, Councilmen`l-11 Harwell , Harold Kaker, Doil
Dalton and Norris Graham, and R. F. Rogers, City Secretary.
( 1) Discussion of the lack of drainage in front of Harstonts
Grocery. Agreement was, at first, fulfilled and subsequegtly
additional fill made by Hars�on. Motion made by A1 Harwell ,
that City authorize the Highway Department to proceed with
necessary measures to correct prablem of drainage. Seconded
by Norris Graham, All voted yes.
(2) A Propositian by the McElroys { Developers) , was discussed.
Harold Kake� �mad �nto��.on�.seconded by A1 Harwell that City charge
�90.00�"�`i1'`I�velop�ient for water and sewage tap fee, and that
if they build twenty-five houses the first year, credit the �1 ,000
to next twenty houses, and reduce �other houses built in the
additian to �50.0� per house tap fee.
Discussed - Highway Department wants to know when City will
build water line to lake. Action deferred. t'
