On the 6th day of March, 1959 , a special meeting of the City Council j
of the City of Grapevine , Texas, was held with th� following members '
present: Mayor Joe D. Clark; Aldermen R . T. Eidson, No1'�'is Graham,
E, Wm. H. Kaker; Secretary Hugh Millican. Absent from the meeting
were Aldermen Doil Dalton E� R . F. Shelton.
The following resolution was presented and adopted on a motion by �
Alderman Kaker and a second by Alderman Eidson:
RE�OLUTION N0. 59-2
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THF MAYOR AND CITY SECRETARY j
'TO MAKE APPLICATION FOR THE CITY OF GRAPEVINr TO THF '
BOARD OF WATER ENGINEERS OF THE STATE OF TEXAS FOR
THE RIGHT TO WITHDRAW 5,000 ACRE FEET OF WATER PER '
ANNUM FROM THE WATER IMPOUNDED IN THE GRAPEVINE �
RE�ERVOIR ON DEN'II�N CREEK FOR MUNICIPAL USE AND PRO-
VIDING FOR THE PAYNIENT OF THE FEES FOR SUCH PER1VfIT.
The motion for adoption carried by vote , 3-0, with the Mayor
concurrinq in the approval .
