Austin 2,b�6.00 ' ; ' The City� s engineers, Freese & Nichols made the recammendation ' that the bi � be awarded to the low bidder, Watpr Tank Service Co. Alderman Dalton moved that the City award the bid to Water Tank Service Co, for the b�d amount af �1 , 160.00 and that payment upon j comgletion be made from the Utility Operatfng Fund. Mot�on was � �econded by Alderman Shelton and passEd. � Alderman Kaker moved that an amcaunt up to .� 1 ,000.00 be allowed � fc�r the cost of installatian of a 6" water line fr�am North Matn ' „� Street to the intersection of Brewer & Turner Streets in the North Side Addition and for 2" water extenc�ion along $rewer Streets ' and along �Vashington Street and that payment be made from the Utility aperating Fund. � ' The follawinq resolution was adoptefl on a motiran by Alderman Kaker i and Second by A3derman She3tc�n: ` RESOLUTION QF THE CITY �OUNCIL QF TH� CITY R �q-3 OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, APPROPRIATING CERTAIN i FUNDS �QR U�E IN THE HEARING BEFORE THE i RASLROAD CQNIMISSION OF TEXAS IN THE MATTER OF THE LONE STAR GAS COMPANY� S APPLICATION, GAS UTILITIE� DOCKEfi NO. 22.�8. Whereas, the Lone Star Gas Company has mad� apr�Iication befare the Railroad Commission of Texas for an increase in the �ate to be pafd for qas at the City Gates; and i Whereas, a Committee representing cities interested in the afore- said app2ication has made a study and has recommended the apgii- ! ;; cation be opposed; and � Whereas, the City of Grapevine , Texas , is vitally interested in the aforesaid application and in the results thereaf, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CCUNCIL OF THE CITY OF � , GRAPEVINE, TEXAS: �� - 4 . _. ._ _._ .'__'-_W'__-w.:�..�,a...r.�YfiiYiv_. u � l .
