Clark; Aldermen Doil Dalton, Norris Graham, Wm. H. Kaker, 8� R. F, Shelton; Secretary Hugh Millicam. xlderman R. T. I Eidson was absent. In addition, Mayor-elect Tip Johnson & Alderman- elect A1 Harwell were present. � R�Iinutes of the mzeting of March 17, 1959 , �✓ere read and approved. A proposed contract which would provide that Earl Deacon, present i owner of Block 3, Dellwood Addition, pay to the City an amount of � 4,5i5.00 as the developers part of the cost of water and sewer � i lines in the block upon the d�velopment or sale of the paoperty or part th2reof and futher providing that the School is to receive , up to a total of ?�3 ,250.00 from this amount as repayment of their share of the costs was presented for consideration, xlderman Kaker moved that the City Council approve the contract and authorize the Mayor and City Secretary to sign for the City. Motion was second- ed by Alderman Shelton and passed. Ald�rman Shelton introduced and moved the adoption of the following ordinance : AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING MAXIMUM SPEEDS UPCN CERTAIN � HIGHWAYS AND STRFETS OR PAR TS THEREOF WITHIN THE CO�P�RATE LIMIT OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, AS SET FORTH IN THI S ORDINANCE AND PROVI DING A PENALTY OF A FINE NGT TO EXCcED °�20C .00 rOR THE VIOLATION OF THi S ORDINANCE. '�, ' ( Complete copy of the ordinance is filed in the Ordinance Book �� as Ordinance No. 59-�) 1�.lderman Kaker moved that the City proceed to ask for bids for certain work to be completed withi� the Silver Lake Park Area at the Grapevine Reservoir - This work to be in two parts. 1 . For the completion of a road from the existing dam i road and extending westward behind the Project Enaineers � I residence , including drainage culverts, road approach, � and parking area at west end but not including any gravel in the area. 2. For the erection and buildina of 10 picnic units; each unit to consist of one table & 2 benches, one cooker and one trash container. � For the buildina of two restrooms to be err�cted in the area. All work to be under the supervision of the Project Engineer and plans and specifications to be drawn by him. Alderman Dalton seconded the motion which passed. Dj9cfeN � Alderman�moved that the Texas Power 8 Light Company be requested � , to install Street Liclhts at the following locations with the bill 'i for these lights be added to the City�s contract for such lighting. , � d 1 . One light at the North end of North Lucas Street ; � 2.
