A special meeting of the City Council of the City of (.,rapevine
� was held on Ati;ust 24, 1959, with tl,e following members
G present: Mayor Tip ,Johnson, Aldermen; Norris Graham,
'i A1 Harwell , Doil Dalton, R. P. Shelton, Harold Kaker. Acting
' City Sec. Izola Jordan.

Purpose of the meeting was to formaly accept the re�isnation
of City Secretary Jim H�.ncock and to swear in R. F. Ro�ers
as City Secretary. Alderman Kaker motioned that Jim Hancock' s
re�isna.tion be accepted. ltiiotion seconded by Alderman Shelton
4 and passed by an aye vote by all memrers.
i On a motion by Alderman Dalton and second by Alderman :-iarwe11 ,,1��
A4r. R. F. R.ogers was hired and sworn in as City Secretary at
r the salary of $375.00 per month for three months after which
, ivill be increased to �400.00 per month. �lotion carried �y;
