Regular meeting of the City Council of the Cit� Council of ;
the City of Grapevine was held on February I�, 1958, with the i
following members present: Mayor Joe D. Clark; Alder�nen Doil
� Dalton, R. T. Eidson, Norris Graham, Wm. H. Kaker, & R. F.
Shelton; and 5ecretary Hugh Millican. i

Minutes of the meeting of J�.nuary 7, 1958, were read and
approved. �
�
Council approved the expenditure of a maximum of � 120.00 in (1,�58-5)
I
prow�iding additional parking area near W. C. HawSt concession i
stand in 5ilver Lake Park and a maxirnum of � 275.00 for drain- ;
age facilities in the area upon a motion by Alderm$n Eidson
and second by Alderman Kaker. Said money to be paid out of ',
the Park Fund; and work is to be under the supergision of the
Pro,ject Engineer. '
Council agreed to begin proceeding to lease additional land (M58-b) ,
Just west of Silver Lake Park for sub-leasing to W. C. Haws, !
provided that Mr. Haws presents satisfactory plans for the '
development of the area. ''
Plans for water borne rest rooms were submitted by Silver Lake (M58-7) I
Enterprises, Inc. , for approval. Sa3d plans were approved, �,
sub�ect to final approval by the Corps of Engineers.

Alderman Eidson moved that an ordinance restrictin�g the keeping (M58-8)
of Livestock within the City Limits be drafted and presented �
fo� consideration at the next regular meeting.Motion was sec- ''
onded by Alderman Shelton and passe�. g

Appro�al was given for the locating of street lights at the (M58-9) f
intersection of N. Dove Rd. E� Hilltop Dr. and the intersection �I
of S. Terrell b W. Nash 5treets.

Alderman Eidson moved the adoption the resolution following (R58-10) �
(No. R 58-1) ; Alderman Shelton seconded the motion which
passed.

Council authori2ed the purchase of 500 feet of 2�" fire hose (M58-21)
with an estimated cos�t of $ 650.00. Said purchase is to be
based on lowest acceptable bid; Alderman Eidson to be authorized
to approve purchase.
Authorization was given the Tax Assessor-Collector to enter (M58-12)
3nto an agreement with June R. Welch for the collection of
delinquent taxes for a fee not to exceed 1�% of collections.
