Regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Grapevine,
T�xas, was held on June J , 19�8, with the following members ;
present : P��ayor Joe . D. Clark; Aldermen D. E. Dalton, R. T, 1
Eidson; Norris L. Graham, & R. F. Shelton; Secretary Hugh �
Millican. Alderman Wm, H. Kaker was absent. ;

and approved. ,
Due to a question of the correctn�ss of the assessed valuation (T�758-�.6)
of Lot 2, Block 5, Lucas .4ddition o�vned by C. C. Lane, P.lderman ;
Eidson moved that the City 9uithhold filing a tax suit for the ;
collection of the 1957 tax �tntil after the 1958 tax equal- ,
ization board has set the 1958 values. P��otion was seconded '
by Alderman Snelton and passed. ',
Alderman Shelton offered th� following motion: (P.�1�8-47) �
The City of Grapevine authorizz the formation of a Police
auxilary unit composed of a maximum nur�ber of inen of eight with
the following qualifications and conditions: �
( a) P.�embers must be at least 21 years of age. �
(b) P.�embers must sign a release in which the member holds th� i
City free and harmless from all injuries enctzred by the ;
member.
( c) P��'embers must be approv�d by the City Council .
( d) P���embers may be dismissed by the City Council . �
( e) Menlbers must maintain highest moral and civic standards �
� of conduct at all times. ;
Alderman Eidson seconded tne motion which passed by vote . �

Tax Col�ector reported that as of r,%Iay 31 , 19�8, q3.1_�_�o of th� i
1957 tax levy had been collected. Also that the delinquent taxes ;
