Alderman �{aker n:oved �hat upon the receipb of an application
' ior annexation from Gzorge Baldwin, the City a11ow him to
conn�ct his property to the Cityts s�;wer line. ���otion �as
seconded by Alderrnan Dalton and passed by vote.
Petition by Dellwood Development Company and others for the �'
annexation of property west of the present City Limits was
receiv2d and noted. Alderman Eidson moved the adopt�on of thz
following Ordinance ann2xinq the property described in the
petition:

Ald2rman Kaker seconded the motion for adoption which passed
by vote , 4-0, witn the mayor approving. ( Complet2 copy of ��
the Ordinance is contained in th2 Ordinance Book as No. 58-5,�) - I
Dellwood Development Company pr�sent�d a plat of streets v�rithin
th� area anne�ed by Ordinance No. 58-5 ( abov�) and also a
d2dication of certain area for schoo? purpos2s. Alderman I
Kak�r moved that the Council approve� the plat and dedication '�
as pres�nted. PJlotion tuas seconded by Alderr:ian Eidson and passed
by vote .
Alderman Kaker made a motion to authori2� the drafting of an
ordinance which would prev�nt the storage, sa1e , and/or shooting i
of firewor�cs within the City Limits. Alder:��an Graham s�conded �
the motion which passed by vote . ;

Due to complications which have arisen in allowing th� Civic �
Center Building as a permanent office ior public officials, '
Alderman �,idson Moved that effective January 1 , 1959, the
building snall not b2usad by any organization or individual
as a perrr_anent fu11 time office . Alderman Kaker oeconded the
motion which passed.
Alderman Eidson moved that the tax2s listed on the attached
sh�et be cancelled in that it appears impossible to collect
for the reasons indicated. Alderman Iiaker seconded the motion
which passed.
