� Lett2r from the Corps of Enaineers da.ted July 2, 1958, was read
in which was included a draft of the proposed amendment No. 1
to the Cityfs lease of an area in the Grapevine Res2rvoir for
park and recreational d2velopment. This amendm2nt would extend
the area under such 1�ase to include additional land in tracts
A-2ZA and A-21�A. Alderman Eidson mov�d that th2 City Council
a�prove the amendment and submit it to the Corps of �ngineers
for approval . I��totion tivas seconded by .4lderman Dalton anc� passed.
Flat of the revision of lots within Lakewood Acr�s was present-
ed; said plat had been approved by the Plannina and Zonin�
Commission. Ald�rman �Lak�r mov2d that the plat be approv�d
by the City Counci ? and the I�4ayor and City Secr�tary be auth-

orized to si n same. P��:otion was seconded b Alderman Eidson

Aldzrman Kaker moved that the City beqin paying for the local
I' tel�phone service charaes for the Ground 7bservc�r Corps with
' the telephone to be located at the High School Football field,�
A:'otion was seconded by Ald�rman Dalton and passed.
Report by Freese and Nichold on Strzet Improvements was
' considered and a special meeting was callad fer July 21 , 1958,
at the First National Bank to discuss this plan with sev�ral
invited citizens. Said meeting is not to be an official
Counc i 1 me e t i nc�.
