Proposal for dev2lopinc� land owned by Pnrs. Tom Jam�s on S.H. i

& Eidson for study and report . '
Complaint by UJm. Hurst that water from streets within Lucas
. Addition was draining on to his property and that sewer l.ine i
across his property had not been prop�rl�t filled was h�ar�l
� and r�ferLd to Aldzrman Graham for study and rpport.
� ' After discussion of street assessment proce2dur�s, Alderman I�aker
mov�d that an election b� held on Gctober 4, 1958, to c�ecid� on ,
issuing "� �.25,000 .00 �ater 8 Sewer F�ev�nue Bends ancl :� 275,000.00
General Obligation Str�et Bonds. Alderman Eidson secondzd the '
notion which passed.
R�quest from the water department that the City purchase a new
pump to re�lace worn out pump at th� lift station in the Hilltop
Addition was received. A11�rman Eidson moved that prices be
securzd and proceed with the purchas� of the pump with a cost
of approximately _� 650.00. Alderman Dalton second�d the motion which
pass�d. '

mission to gravel additional parking ar�a near th� fishing barge i
at the Grapevin� Lake was received. Ald�rman Shelton mov�d that
perr�ission be giv�n, subject to final approval by th2 Corps of
�ngineers, and that said work is to b�, done at no cost to the �
City of Grapevine . R�TOtion s�cond�d by Ald�rman Lidson and passed. �
Alderman }�a�zr moved that th� City approve an agreement tivith �,
the County to re-surface and surface the road }cnown as North
Dooley & Bushong Road from S.H. �;� 11'.�-121 to th� Grapevine Lak�
with the City paying `� 1 ,500 .00 towards the cost of th2 tivorl�;
said �1 ,500.00 is to be paid .from the Park rund. P�.�otion s�conded �
by Alderman Dalton and passed.
A requ2st from the Justice of Peace that he be a1low�d to plac� �I
a temporary tppe building on the Vlaterworks lot at E. Texas and
Pti�ain Street for us2 as an office.was received. Alderrnan Dalton
moved that p�rmission be granted sub�j�ct to approval of location
of building by th� Water Department and that the building is
to bP moved upon 30 days notice by the City. ��otien second�d by
Alderman Shelton and passed.
A1�3erman Eidson mov�d that pric�d be szcured for the purchas�
of a mowing machine and that Alderman Dalton be instructed to
Ii r:iake a report on the type of mow�r ��sired. Ald�rman Shelton
