Specia2 meeting of the City Council c�f the City of Grapevine, Texas i
� was held on (7ctober 22, 195$ with the following members present: �
, �Uiayor Jae D. Clark; A].dermen �. E. Dalton, R. T. Eidsan, Norris f
L. Graham, Wm. H. Kaker, & R. F. Shelton; `Secretary Hugh Millican.
The following resotution was adapted on a motion by Alderrnan She2ton
and Second by Alderman Daltc�n: �
RE'SOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A
LICEIV�E FC}R PARK AND RECREATICNAL DEVELUPMENT
OF AN AREA A]DJACENT TO SILVER LAKE PARK IN
THE GRAPEVINE RESERV�IR FRUJECT BY THE CI'I"�C
OF GRAPEVINE, �'EXAS. I
WHEREAS, it is deemed desireab2e to extend the area under 2icense I
from the U. S. Engineer� by th� City of Gr�,pevine for the purpose �
of deve2oping the said area far par� and recreational use, ;
WHER��,the U. S, Engineers have sxtended a license for this
additional area, �
NOW fiHEREFQRE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY C�UNCIL �F T'HE CITY CJF'
GRAPEVINE, TE%AS, TNAT:
The �City of Grapevine accept the licen�e sc� extended and that
the Mayor of said City and the City Secretary of same be and ;
� are hereby autharized to sign the nece�sary dacuments to effect I
the said Iicense.

Alderman Kaker moved that the City purchase 8 lat�ching ramps ,�
for use at the Grapevine Lake at a cost of �90.00 per ramp; j
said purchase ta be make from funds af the Specia2 Park Fund !
with payment to be made as: �

Alderman Eidson moved that �lOp.00 be allowed for expenses of the
Mayt�r in attending the I.eague of Texas Municipa2ities meetfng
in Houston in November. Motion was seconded by Alderman Sheltan
and passed.
