Texas, was held on March 5, 1957 with the following members
r present: Mayor Joe D. Clark; xldermen M. B. Austin, Joe Box
E. M. Pair, R. T. Eidson, & R. F. Shelton; Secretary Hi�gh
Millican.
Minutes of the preeeeding meetings were read and approv2d.
Discussion was held pertaining to traffic and parking
problems along Highway 114. No action taken.
The following traffic resolutions were presented and
' passed:
R57-1 NOW BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXkS, THAT:
1 . Parking of motor vehicles be prohibited on the South side
of East Franklin Street between Main Street and the East
Side of Jenkins Street.
2. One-way designation for traffic flow between the hours of
7:30 a.m. and 4: 30 p.m. on school days, be �irected for the
following sections of streets: �
�. Ruth Street between East Worth Street and East Cannon St. ,
one-way going South,
�� B. East Cannon Street between Rnth Street and Austin Street,
one-way going West,
C. hustin Street be�^�reen East Cannon Street and East Worth
Street, on�-way going North,
D. East Worth Street between Hustin Street and Ruth Street,
one-way going East.
3. Signs indicating the above restrictions be errected in the
proper places to give proper instructions to the public.
4. The authority for these restrictions and the errection of
sighs is contained in Ordinance No. 54-8•
5. This resolution,not being a penal ordinance in itself, need
not be published to be effective, but shall be effective upon
the errection of the proper signs.
