� Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Grapevine,
� � Texas was held on June 18, 1957, with the followinc m�mbers

� present: It�ayor Joe D. Clark; Aldermen �oi 1 �alton, R. '?'. �:
Eidson, Norris Graham, & Wm. H. Kaker; and Secretary Hugh '
R4illican.
' Discussion was held with several businessmen pertaining the
itraffic problems along State Highway No. 114 and the recently
i passed parking resolution No. 57-2, which prohibited parking
within 25 �eet of the pavement along Highway No. 11�4_.

I Alderman Eidson offered the following suggestions and moved
` their adoption:
I ( 1) Eliminate the parking within 10 �eet of the Highway pavement,
' ( 2) Poll the businessmen along the highway section as to their
choice of angle or parallel parking in front of their re-
spective businesses.
; ( 3) Poll the businessmen as to their views in making restrictions
i effective dur�ing certain hours only.
I (I�.) Signs requlatiaig parking except the 10 foot restrictions
i are to be paid for by the businessmen.
� ( 5) Traffic .� Resolution No. 57-2 be repealed.
� (6) Traffic resolution effecting the above recommendations
, is to be drawn for passage at a later meeting.
