The following ordinance was introduced and rrio�red far adoption b�r . tilderrnan Box: WHERF.kS, the City of Grape�rine, Texas, by reason of its close 056-11 proximity to the wnon Carter Fort Worth Ir�ternativnal xirport and Industrial and Comax►ercial Establishments sits�ate.d in the eastern part of Tarrant County, City of Dallas and the west- ern portion of Dallas County, er�gaged in matters vital to the defense of the Matior�, and other si�ilar establishments now under construction and contemplated to be located and con- structed in s�ch area, has brought abo�t a rapid and material increase in population in said City and its environ; and WHEREAS, many Citizens in the area aforementioned employed in s�ach establishrnents by reason of lack of sufficient public . transportation, to enable them to con�eniently reach such places of employment, are compelled to use private Motor Vehicles for such purposes, thereby creating a safety hazard over roads ar�d Highwa�s �sed by said Citizens in going to and from their respective places of employment, on which sufficient protection to the General P�ablic �ssing said raads and Highways is unavailable at this time; and � WHERF.l�5, in the best interest of' the health, safety, and � general welfare of the Citizens of Grapevine, its environs and �, the p�blic in general traversing the roads and highways here- itafter described, the Cit�► Council of tl�e City of Grapevine, ; deems it advisable to place such roads and highways under its �jurisdiction for policing purposes, vvhich the Council so f inds; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS: TI-WT, the following named State Highways and County Roads in Tarrant County, Texas, described, to-wits ' BEGINNI�iG at a pdnt in the Eastern City Lirnits Line of � Grapevine, Texas at the �iorth right of �ra� line of � State Highway No. 11l� and 121 merged; !, THEPiCE, East along the North right of way► line line of said High�ra� to a point where S.H.
