� The regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas
' was held Januar
'� Y 3 , 1956 with the following members present : Mayor Joe
Clark; Aldermen M. B, Austin, Joe Box, R. T. Eidson, E. M. Pair, R. F.
Shelton; Secretary Hugh Millican.
Alderman Shelton moved that a meeting be held with the State Highway
,� s�_� Department to attempt to get a stop and go signal kight installed at
the intersection of Sta.te Highway 121 and State Highway 114 within I
the City of Grapevine. Motion seconded by Alderman Eidson and passed '
by vote. �
Ms`-z Alderman Box moved that the City pay for the cost of curb and gutter
along the City's property ad,ioining Barton St. providing the remaining
curbs are paid for. P�7otion seconded by Alderman Eidson.
Ald�rman Eidson moved the adoption of the following ordinance:

Alderman Austin seconded the motion which passed by vote of 5 to 0.

Alderman Shelton moved that the City �rrater Department broceed to install

Alderman Pair moved th��t the City proceed to forclose on bond to pave
/ys�-�f streets i�Tith�n Bellaire �".ddition, Section B. Motion seconded by
nlderman Austin and r�,ssed by vote.
Alderman Austin moved th�t the question of bond covera�;e for City
,�_sd.s employees be -referred to the fin�nce committee. n'?otion seconded
by :�lderman Pair and passed by vote. • ;
�^,lderman Eidson moved City purch<�se service badges :�s �_--,�ards to C. S.
�iS�-� Toon and H. D. Thompson for comp]:etion of 20 years a_ctive sQrvice of
the Grapevine Fire Departm�nt.

*' TELEPHONE COMPANY, A CORPOR.�TION, ITS SUCCESSORS,
AND ASSIGNS, THE RIGHT, PRIVILEGE, AND PERMIT TO
ESTABLISH MONTHLY RATES FOR LOC4L TELEPHONE SERVIC�'
IN THE CITY OF GRAPrVINE, TEXAS
BE IT ORDAIN�D BY TNE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE
TEXAS: '
Section 1. That the right, privilege, and permit is granted
to the Southwestern States Telephone Company to put into effect
without objection on the part of tr,e City Council of the City of
Grapevine, Texas, the following schedule of monthly rates:
