�! Regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Grapevine was held on
; �' February 7, 1956 with the following members present : Mayor Pro-tem Joe
! Box Presiding: Aldermen 1��?. B. Austin, R. T. Eidson, E. P�I. Pair, & R. F.

Shelton; Secretary Hugh Millican.

i Mr. Earl Smith presented a petition asking that the streets in Bellaire
± mSG-G Addition, Section B, be paved immediately. The petition was signed by
owner of twent,y homes within said addition. No action w�as taken on the
reouest.
ivlinutes of the meeting of Januar,y 3 , 1956 wer� a°�proved ;
Alderman Shelton moved that the City authorize the payrnent of an additional.

; �2.00 to V. H. Yancy for his service �s nightwatchman in the central
business district in Januarv. The amou�t of other pay received was
; ,y�s�-7 �19�?.00 and tris �2.00 would bring the total received to the amount re
expected at tre begining of the �,onth. T�otion seconded by Alderman
Eidson and pas�;ed.
?_lderman Eidson of_ fered the following proposal as a motion:
(1) city employ one man �s night patrolman to use patrol cGr to pa.trol;
entire town. �
/�ISL'S ( 2) City employ another man to act as night��ratchr�<<n �nd to carry the `
clock within the centr�l business district. �'
( 3 ) The nightwatchman would be under the sunervision of the ni�ht �,
- patrolman, as well �s under the control of the City Council.
� (1�) The details of tris arrangements to be �,JOrked out by the Public
S:�fetv and Pe .rsonnel Committees.
