Clark; Aldermen M. B. Austin, Joe Box, R. T. Eidson, E. M. � ; �air and R. F. Shelton; Secretary Hugh Millicai . � k A proposed plat showing a suUdivision of tract 9R3G of the 9R3G of � the Hrs. of A. Foster Survey within the City of Grapevine was present- ed for consideration. The Ylanninb and Zoning Commission reported that they had withheld approval of the plat due to the fact that the /11��"?'3 lots shown would each contain less than the 7,200 square feet of area as required in Ordinance No. 55-5. Nir. W. K. Stewart appeared be- fore the Council to asked that approval be given to this proposed plat. Alderman Shelton moved that the City Council approve the plat as presented. Alderman �air seconded the motion which passed i by vote, 5-0. Letter from Acting Yostmaster Stephens requesting that additional space in front of the �'ost Uffice be restricted to 15 minute limit for parking was read. Alderman Box moved that the question be ��`,y� referred to the i'ublic Safety Committee for action. Motion was seconded by Alaerman Austin and passed by vote, 3-2; Aldermen Eidson and �'ai r against the motion. Alderman Box moved that a letter be written to Mr. J. L. Bryce and ' ms�,y5 rir. E. F. Bryce statin� that 10 days would be given to make arrangements tor separate water connections at their two houses on � Scribner Street near W. College or that water service would be dis- � continued to both places. Motion was seconded by Alderman Shelton and passed by vote , 5-0. Alderman Austin moveci that the City proceed with the repairs necessary � to eliminate the rain water trom enteri.ng the City Hall; said repairs to include the front t�our windows, the two t�ront doors and the back ; rr15�'�� oi the buildin�. M�tion was seconded by Alderman Shelton and passed by vote, 5-0,: Alderman Box moved that parking within lU f eet of the pavement on State Highway 114 between Dove Road and Austin Street be prohibited �S�^�,� and that signs be errectect to indicate such. Motion� was seconded by Alderman Austin and passed by vote, 5-0. � 8 Alderman Austin presented a request that the Utility Department be authorized to constnxct a water barrier around the litt station in �� Bellaire Addition to keep rain water out oi the station. Alderman /n�`^ Eidson moved that �rices tor thls work be secured and that the Utility lle�t. be autnorizect to have this work done. Motion seconded by Alderman Box and passeci by vote, 5-0.
