� � Texas, �as held on July 24, 1956 with the following members
' . present: Mayor Joe D. Clark; Aldermen M. B. Austin, Joe Box,
: R. T. Eidson, E. M. Pair, & R. F. Shelton; and Secretary Hugh
Millican.
The following resolution was adopted:
� Whereas, the City of Dallas has requested that the Corps of
Engineers release certain waters from the Grapevine Reservoir
to alleviate the heavy salt concentration in the Dall�.s water
supply, and
� Whe=eas the Corps of En�ineers ha.s asked if the City of Grape-
�� vine has any objections to their granting this request,
�, Now therefore be it resolved that:
The �ity of Grapevine go on record as offering at this time
no objections th the Corps of Engineers releasing water from
the Grapevine Reservoir for water supply purposes for the
� g City of Dallas; this being conditioned upon the City of Grape-
vine reserving the right to object at a later date by gi�ing
9� days notice of such intentions. �
The following resolution was adopted:
Whereas, the State Highway Commission, by minute Number
40039 passed April 27, 1956, authorized the reconstruction
of State Highw�y 114 within the City Limits of the City of
Grapevine, and
; Whereas, this authorization is conditioned upon the City
of �rapevine j�aying f or the curbs, gutters, and storm
s`�S sewers necessary, and
(Z Whereas this cost has been estimated to be $ 27,000.00,
Now therefore be it resolved that:
The City of Grapevine advise the State Highvvay Commission
that the said City hereby accepts the proposal as outlined
in the Commission's Minute Number 40029. This acceptance
is conditioned upon the approval by the voters of bonds
to pay for the City's share of construction.
