Minutes of the meeting of �ugust '7, 1�ugust 16 and August
21, 1956 were read and approved.
, Police Officer C. S. �mith tendered his resignation from the
police Department effective as of this date.
Resolution Adopted:
�S`,sv Be it resolved that the resignation of C.S. Smith �
be accepted as tendered,�nd that applications be
taken to fill the vacancy.

� Resolution Adopted:
Be it resolved that �400.00 from the General Fund
be set aside for the purchase of winter uniforms for the
� ,�`-s3 Police Department. Said purchases a�e to be made
�, with approval of the Public Safety hairman.
