- Regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Grapevine was �
held January 4, 1955 with the following members present : Mayor
'� .H. M. Cosnahan; Aldermen Joe Box, E. M. Pair, and R. F. Shelton;
, 'i and S�cretary Hugh Millican.
, Minutes of the preceedin� meeting were resd and approved.

� � SS-� Bills on the f�llowing page were allowed.
F Mayor Cosnahan appointed J. C. Greener as Fire Chief for the
i' � Sr�-v City of Grapevine. The appoi�tment was approved by the Council
'" .by vote, 3-0.

; Petition from persons representing 33 business firms on Main St.
; requesting that a time limit for parking pe placed on Main Street
was presented to the council.. Motion by Alderman Shelton and
;; second by Alderman Box that a two hour limit from $ a.m. to
'�; MS5�3 6 p.m. be put in force on the East side of Main bewteen Franklin
and Texas Streets and on ths i�lest side of Main between Franklin
and Wall Streets. Motion passed by vote.
Alderman Box moved that the City pay M�s. Laura Thomas � 50.00
I� per month for her services in answering fire alarm calls for the
� �Jss�'� Citp; also that if a perminante anrangement can be worked out ,
the install an alarm sw�tch in her home. Motion seconded by Ald.
� Shelton and passed by vote.
Meeting adjourned.
