' Regular �e�ting af the City Coiu�cil was held on Februarp�l, 29��
with the following memb�rs present: Mayor H. M. CosnahaM; Aldermen
' Joe Box, Bi11 �Guest, E. M, Pair, & R. F. Shelton; and Secretarp �

� Minutes of the meeting of January �., 1955 were read ar�d approved.
Fire Chief Greener and Assft Chief Hod�es presented an agreement
between J. T. Lueas and the Citq stating that Lucas would answer
fire 'alarm calls and turn in the general alarm 2t� hours a� a� day,
�� �� 7 daqs a week for a sum of � 50.00 per manth provided th� City
�� install tslephone e�ctensic,ns in his affice and home and install
an alarm switch also. Mot3.on by Alderrnan Hox and second by Alderman
Guest that the Gity accep� Mr. Lucas' s proposal and make the
neccessary� insta2lations. Motion earried.

install street lights at the intersention of S. Fin� & Hangar Line
�,� - � agd at the intersection af Airline & Hangar Lin�; service for these ''
Iights is to be added to the contract for street light service. '
' Motion seconded by Alderman Box and passed by vote.
�lderman Box moved that the City award the work of a City audit
to Gup Kelley fc�r the fc�l3owing.
Audit cash tran�actions for the period January 1, 1953 to
April 3a, 1955
�xamine balance sheet items including current and deliquent
�i 1 tax and water dspt. rece�.veablas.
'���� Prepare financial reports on the accrual basis of accounting,
reports are to conform to MFOA recommendations.
� Make systems and accaunting recammenclatian� for �c� consider-

Pr�pare budget report in blank fc�rm for use by the ne� caunc3.l.
Cost is to be on a day basis, :� 45.00/day, with a maxirnum of � 600.
Mati4n seconded bg Alderman Shelton and passed by vote.
The Mayor, with the approval of �he �ouncil rnade the following
appointments to the City Planning Commission:
For a three year term expiring January 31, 195�:
John Hemley and John Crabb,
�fy5�a For a two year term expiring January 31, 1957:
D. E. Box, C. T�V. Carlson, & Ea�l Deaccrn.
First meeting of the Commission was called for February 9�h at
7:34 at the City Hall.
Mation by Alderman Shelton that tax adju�tments and refunds bs
allowedto Mrs. J. A. Spinks and to Jess Jordan due to errors in
M��'`� the valuations. Motio� seconded by Ald. Guest and passed by vote.
Alderman Box maved that bids be received for 50 new water m�ters
: ms� .j� and purchase bs made from low bidder for a� amount nat to exceed
� �.,z5a.00. Motion seconded bq Alderman Pair and passed.
Motion by Alderman Box that the council appr4ve installing curbs
� M ,�$_!1 and gutters around the water plant � 1 property at a cost of
approximately � 900.04 with Alde�man Guest in charge of the werk.
Motion seconded by Alderrnan Fair and passed by vote.
Alderrnan Box moved that the C3ty approve only Clap Tile for seaer
�c,5_xk cor�nectians frt�m house to Citp's 2atteral 2ines. Motion seconded
by Aldercnan Pair and passed bp vc�te.
