Bills listed on the following page were allowed for payment. The request by the Southwestern States Telephone Companp for an increase � ���� in telephone rates was tabled. , f� Petititons for annexing properties knoyvn as Dellwood Aeres arid Lakewood ♦y Acres were read but action on the petitions was delaped until a later �n�'� meeting. ' ' ��ieeting Adjourned. , ✓ u can, ity ecretary Special meeting of June 29, 1954 was held with the following members present: Mapor H. M.Cosnahan; Alderman Joe Box, J. J. Daniel, Bill Guest, E. M. Pair and R. F. Shelton; Secretary Hugh Millican. Discus�ion was held with Mr. Elwood Cluck concerning the granting of an easemer�t for the construction of a sewer line aeross certain properties •' owned by Mr. Cluck. Due to conditions asked for bp Mr. Cluck the �� f3 council was una.ble to secure_ the easement. Freese and Nichols Engineering ' ,� " Firm was �nstructed to proceed with the location of an alternate route. Plat and Dedication for a section of Dellwood �Acres Iaiown as Black 2 was presented for consideration. .Alderman Daniel moved that the City Council approve the Plat and Dedicat ian as pr�sent ed and authorize the �S�-'�� Magor and City Secretary to sign same. Motion was seconded bq Alderman Shelton and passed 1�-0; Alderman Box not voting. The following Ordinance was introduced for adoption: AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED PROPERTY TO THE CITY � OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, WHICH PROPERTY IS KNOWN AS BLOCK 2, DELLWOOD ACRES, TO THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, AIdD EXTENDING THE � BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAI D CITY SO AS TO INCLUDE SgID HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS, AND GRANTING TO SAID TERR.ITORY AND TO ALL FUTURE INHABITANTS OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF THE RIC�iTS AND PRIVILEGE5 OF OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING SAI D FUTURE INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES OF THE SAID CITY. � (Comple�e copp is filed in Ordinance Book and No. 54-12) Alderman Daniel moved the adoption of the Ordinance.�lderman Sheltor� � seconded the motion which passed 4-0; Alderman Box not voting. ! � � , Meeti Adjour�ed.
