The regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Crrapevine was
held on December 21, 1954 with the following members present: Mayor
�,� Cosnahan; A1•dermen Box, Daniel, Pair, and Guest ; Secretary Hugh I

Millican. ,,
Minutes of the meeting of December 7th were read and approved. ',
Motion by Alderman Box that the City purchase a new pump with a setting �
of 600t for the Trinity Well ,� 1 and transfer the 50 hp motor from
the Trinity ���ell # 2 to the new pump; repair and deepen the setting to
m5�"4S 6001 of the pump now in the Trinity i�lell # 2 and purchase a 75hp. motor
for this pump. Motion was seconded by Alderman Daniel and passed by �
vote, 4-0.

Freese and Nichols were instructed to inform Pittsburg-Des Monies Steel j
Co. that the City is to deduct �50.00 per day f rom the final pay estimate I
�S'�'�� for liquidating damages for not completing the tank by the time specif�:ed
in the contract.
Alderman Guest moved that the City purchase candy for the employees,
�S�•9� firemen, and telephone operators for Christmas. Motion seconded by
Alderman Pair and passed by vote. '�
Mayor appointed Lee Tidwell as City patrolman and nightwatchman. The ;;
�1?S`�'i4 appointment was approved by the Council by vote of l�-0. !

s�.s� Motion by Alderman Box that the City errect "Dead End Street" signs on ''
TAJorth at Eckley Street and on Austin at Cannon Street. Motion seconded
� by Alderman Guest and passed by vot e. ',
