SECTION 6 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE� TEXAS, ADJUSTING GARBAGE R.ATES;
AND PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE.

I .
THAT Title 7, Chapter 5, Section 6 is hereby amended to read
as follows:
7-5-6: RATES: Any houses, buildings, or premises used for
residential purposes, that are connected to the City' s Water
System and pay a minimum monthly charge for water service shall
have their garbage, trash and refuse removed at a monthly charge
where such collection and removal is not required in excess of
twice each week:
Single Family Residential $ 2.50
Single Family Residents without
City Water Service $ 3.00
Duplex $ 5.00
,� Multi-family unit, each unit $ 2.25
�' The collecting and removing of garbage, refuse and trash from
houses, buildings, an d premises used for commercial and business
purposes shall be determined by the number of times t�ach week
that collection and removal of garbage, refuse and trash is re-
quired, plus the amount of garbage, refuse, and trash collected
and removed. The following rates are established:

Twice week Pick-up
4-8 - 10-30 gal. containers $ 6.00
Six days per week Pick-up
1-3 - 10-30 gal. containers $ 9.00.

Gallecting and removing garlaage and trash �'rom churches or
other buildings and premises used for religious woacship will
not }ae charged where such collection and. removal is no� re-
quired in excess of once each week.

premises used for lodges and. fraternal organizations will not
be charged where such collection and removal is not required
i,n excess of once each week.

The miniznum service to be rendexed sha11 be once each week and
tk�e znaximum six {6} times each week. Should any placee� busi-
�,; ness not be specifically designated by name, such error or
amission will not relieve the owner, occupant, tenant, or
lessee of the bin.ding effect of this Chapter, but �he same
charge shall be made as tha� entered against a business of a
].ike or similar nature.

Should any part, sec�ion, paragraph, sentence, clause or
p�ras e contained in this ordinance be held to be unconstitu-
tional, such holding sha11 nat affect the validity of t�e
remaining portion of the ordznance, but in all respect sha11
remain in full force and effect,
