Recommendations
Contract -I
RussWtoliell, Wyche and Bruce are low bidders at $10,750.00
However, their bid was conditioned all or sone. At our request
they have agreed to waive this conditions
We recommend the award to Russ Mitchell. Wyche and Bruce*
Contract II
as t: Service bid was irregular in that (1 no bid bond
was included and (2) the bid was based on No* 10 gauge roof, whereas
the specifications oall�ftr roof to be 3/16". At our request
Municipal as Service has •} i3• a letter adding$180eOO to their
Alternate Bid Noo 1 for a 5/16" roof. Their bid meeting the specifi-
cations, after this adjustment is $5,456*00o
General Steel Company, the second low bidder, did not bid to meet
the specifications as to metal thicimesse At our request they have
submitted a letter quoting to meet the specifications at $6,256.00
We recommend the award to Municipal Tank Service at $5,456*00 e It
is suggested that the contract be discussed fully with Mr. Allen,
Owaer, in order that he may be fully advised as to what we expect
to be done*
Contract III
uth-west.Company is low bidder at $44,009*36 . We recommend the
award to Southwest Company*
