�c meeting was held in the City riall on �areh 15, 1950, consisting
of citizans of the town, and members of the �i�ty Gouncil.
'�'he purpose of the meeting was tne discussion of the loQation
af a�('air plane �ind�mc�i�m�. engine factory, and any
inducement the �ity had to offer them in locating here. �
It was moved by S.�.Payne and carried that the following
reaolution be ado�ted.

"�he City �ouncil ot� the �ity of �rapevirie, Texas, does hereby
adopt a�. its policy in arriving at the valuation of the inventory
of any business concern for � t�x purposes the following :
"we will use substsntally the same method as that used by tne
�ity of D�llas in determinin� the actual v�lue of said inventory
�nd �ill asaess this value at the same perc�it�ge as used in
� ass:essing other person�l property in the �ity of �r�pevine.'�
