AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND
THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS,
SO AS TO CHANGE THE ZONING DISTRICTS OF CERTAIN
PROPERTY OF JESS STOCKSTILL FROM "A" RESIDENTIAL TO
"J AND K" INDUSTRIAL CONDITIONA�.; RECOGNIZING
SHOOTING RANGE, RESTRICTING EXPANSION OF SHOOT-
ING RANGE, AND PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE.
WHEREAS, due and lawful notice of hearing to consider
a zoning change on the below described property has been
heretofore given; and,
WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the City of
Grapevine, Texas , has on the 5th day of August ,
19 69 , recommended a change of the zoning classification
of the below described property, so that the entirety there-
of shall be hereafter a part of the "J and K" Industrial
Conditional Districts of the City of Grapevine, Texas ;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAPEUINE, TEXAS:
I .
That the below described property be and the same is Hereby
and Herenow Designated and Classified as a part of the "J&K"
Industrial District of the City of Grapevine, Texas. Said
property to carry a conditional provision pertaining to Shoot-
ing Range as described below. The Zoning Ordinance of the
City of Grapevine, Texas , and the Use Map attached to such
ordinance is now so changed and amended:
All that certain lot , tract , or parcel of land lying and
being situated in Tarrant County, Texas, out of the J. B. Fay
Survey, Abstract 530 and J. Cate Survey, Abstract 315, more
� particularly described as follows:

Beginning at the intersection of the center line of
County Road # 3008 and the East R.O.W, line of State Farm
Road 157;
Thence, North O°14' East 1022.20 ft. ;
Thence, along a course to the right with a radius of 1382.70
ft , 854.30 ft . ;
Thence, North 35° 38' East 598.40 ft. ;
Thence, South 89° 21 ' East 1702.90 ft. ;
Thence South 2° 22' West 410.10 ft. ;
Thence, South 32° 25' West 1055.20 ft. ;
Thence, South 28° 43 ' West 1127.70 ft . ;
Thence, South 89� 59' East 1189.90 ft. to the place of be-
ginning, containing 90.178 acres.
II .
That the shooting range operation now existing on said
land is hereby recognized and permitted to continue operation,
with the condition that the said shooting ran ge shall not be
allowed to be expanded upon in any way.
III .
Should any part , section, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase
contained in this ordinance be held to be unconstitutional, such
holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion
of the ordinance, but in all respect shall remain in full force
and effect .
