- .� The re�ular meetin� of the City Council was held on April 11, 1952 with
, ' the following present: Mayor Gordon Tate; Councilmen J. J. Dan.iel, John
Heml.ey, S. M. Payne, R. F. Shelton; and Secretary Hu�h Millican.

Mr. James Smith oP 307 N. Pecan, Arlington, Teass met with the council
Yor the purpose of secruin� permission to operate a taxi com�any in
Grape�vine.
A motion by Counci]man Payne and second by Daaiel that the secretary
issue a permit for this purpose but not to �rant a franchise. Carried.
Rates to be: Inside City Limits; One Pare � 0.20
Extra " 0.15 ea.
'� Out oY town 0.25 per mile
Tour service 3.00 per hour.

A motion by Shelton and seconded by Payne that the City proceed with
estension of sewer service to residents li�ir.�; on s�reet eatending
west Prom Church Street and intersectin� at the Methodist Church.
Carried.
Motion by Hem7.ey and seconded bp Shelton that the City Attorney w3t��e
' A4r. Robinson a letter eaplainin� that he now has his house on City
property and that it is desired that he racate this Property as soon as
possible. Carried.
