The council met in snecial session I43ay 15, 1952 at the request oP the South�restern
States Telephone Co.
The Telephone Co., 8epresented by E. H. Utzman, Brov�n.wood, Bill Vann, Brownwood,
& W. P. Esslinger, Irvir�, Presented a proposed rate inerease Por the City oY
Grapevine phone seAvice Por the Council's conaideration.
The Chamber of Co�merce requested tYLat time be given for futher study of the
proposal be2ore the coun.cil takes any action on the rate increase. !'his
request �as granted.
�iee��ag-A�g In addition, The Telephone Co. submitted a ne� Pranchise fbr its
appro�al. This alao was postponed Por Puther study.
