the followin� members were present ; Mayor Gordon Tate; Council-

Alderman Guest that the appointment be affirmed by the Council. '�
2�iotion seconded by Alderman and. duly p�ssed by vote. �

Engineers. Motion and second that the Council aparove the
� :I appointment. �otion Carried.

N�r. A. B. Allen was appointed as temporary City P�i�.rshal and �
nightwatchman until such time that a re�ular �iay be appointed. !
On a motion by Guest an second, the motion passed.
Motion by Alderman Shelton that the City continue T✓.r. Langley' s
salary until PJa_y 1, 1953 �nd express the council' s appreciation '
for hie long and valued service as Cit,y Marshal. ?�otion seconded !
and carried.
Tom French a.ppointed as City Attorney by the r;ayor. On � motion
by Alderman Daniel that the Council approve this appointment
and second, the �otion passed.
?�ieeting ad�journed following a report by Freese & Nichols and
Fr�nk B. NSc��:ahon concernino refunding contracts, expansion
of present Qystem, and possible bond i�sues .
