� The purpose af the meeting was ta discuss certain agreements between �
' the firm of Frank B. McMahon & Ca. , Inc. and the City, concerning the �r:'
employment af this firm as fiscal agents far the City. ' �'

; be taken under advisement and action taken at the next mee�ing.

Mr. McMahon of the firm of Frank B. McMahon 8c Co. , Inc. offered the j
� City releases of the agreements and memorandums dated April 21, 1953
and ane dated 1952. The first mentioned agreement pertained to
� - employment of fiscal ag�nt; the second pertained to an option to
purchase the first maturing ��O,fl�,00 revenue b�nds i�sued by the
City. :

Mayor Cosnahan accepted the releases in behalf of the City, ;
Alderman Box offered the following motion for adop�ion:
The City tender the appointment of Frank B. McMahora & Co. as fiscal
agent. for the City for �he sale of the bonds approved by the voters
on December 12, 1953. For their services and expenses {including the
� cost� of legal assi�tance, printing of the bonds, printing of the
; notices �Q bidders, electian supglies, the Sta�e Gomptroll�er's regis�tra-
�Cion fee, etc. ) they sha11 receive a fee of �2,000.00. Mation wa� �
�econded by Alderman Daniel with the ammendment that the fee be set
' 2�t �2,200.00. The amendment was seconded by Alderman Guest �nd passed
by Qote. The mation as amended passed by vote. The detail contract
� is to be d�awn by the City Attarney and gresented for signatures.
� I�Iayar �a�nahan appointed Aldermen Box and Pair to a finaneial committee
' �o a�s�L�t Mayor and City Secretary in the details of the sale of the
� bc�nt��.
