�' � Special meeting of the Citp Council of the Gity of Grap�vine was held
� on Deaember 23 , 1953 with the fallowing members present Mayor H. M.
Cosnahan; Aldermen Joe Box, J. J. Daniel, Bill Guest, and E. M. Pair; '
Secretarg Hugh Millican.
The purpose af the meeting was to discuss certain agreements between ;
the firm of Frank B. McMahon & Co. , Inc. and the Ci�y, concerning the
emplopment of this firm as fiscal agents for the City. ' �
Motian b�y Alderman Box and second by Alderman Daniel that the matter
be taken under advisement and action taken at the next meeting.

Mr. McMahon of the firm af Frank B. i�cMahon & Co. , Ine. offered the
City releases of the agreements and memorandums dated April 21, 1953 �;
and one dated 1951. The first mentianed agreement pertained to
�- emplayment of fiscal ag�nt ; the second pertained to an option to
purchase the first maturing �S�,OOO.g4 revenue bt�nds i�sued by the
City. �
Mayor Cosnahan accepted the releas�s in behalf of the City. j
Alderman Box offered the following motion for adoption:
The City t ender the appointment of Frank B. McMahon & Ca. as fiscal
agent far th� City for the �ale of �he bonds approved by �he voters
on December 12, 1953• For their services and e�penses �including the
• costs of legal assistance, printing of the bonds, printing of the
; notices t4 bidders, election supglies, the State Camptrollerts registra-
tion fee, etc. ) they sh�ll rec�ive a fee of �2,000.00. Motion was
secQnded by Alderman Danisl with the ammendmen�G that the fee be set
� � at �2,20Q.00. The amendment was seconded by Alderman Guest .�nd passed
by vate. The motion as amended passed by vote. The detail cantract
i is to b� drawn by the City Attorney and presented f4r signatures.

c N�ayor Cosnahan appointed Aldermen Box and Pair to a f�.nancial committes
to assi�t Mayor and Cit,y Secretary in the details of the sale of the
' band�.
