Texas held on March Sth, 1940 with the following present:
B. R. Wall, mayor presiding and Boone Lipscomb, D. E. Austin,
C. X. Millican and H. C. Yoncey, (Alderman A.W.Willhoite absent
on account of illness.
The minutes of last regular meeting read and approved.
The following bills were read, allowed and ordered paid:

NnQrs. Armstrong and Wilson met with the City council
in r6gard to the new proposed City Hall. No action mas taken
other than that they mere authorized to prepare -some plans
and resubmit Qem to the council
Motion duly seconded that the Council allow the mayor
abouX 43.00 per month for postage telephone Calls, etc. This
to be applied on his city taxes.
No further business motion carried to adjourn.
