CITY OF GRAPEVINE
The Site Plan Review Committee of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in Session, on this the
24th day of March, 2004, in the Director of Development Services Office, 200 South Main
Street, First Floor, Grapevine, Texas with the following members present -to -wit:
Larry Oliver Chairman
H. T. (Tommy) Hardy Member
constituting a quorum, Roy Stewart absent, and the following City Staff:
Ron Stombaugh Planner II
Pam Huntress Planning Secretary
CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Oliver called the meeting to order at 9:04 a.m.
CONDITIONAL USE REQUEST — CU04 -07 — MIDAS AUTO SERVICE
First for the Committee to consider was Conditional Use Request CU04 -07 submitted by
Rob Koenigsedis for property located at 1281 William D. Tate Avenue and platted as Lot
1R2R1, Block 1, Hayley Addition. The applicant was requesting to amend the previously
approved site plan of CU91 -22 (Ord. 92 -09) for an auto repair and retail shop, specifically to
replace a pole sign with a 20 foot monument sign.
Originally, Conditional Use Request CU91 -17 (Ord. 91 -69) was approved at the September
17, 1991 meeting for a planned commercial center and allowed for an auto repair shop. At
the February 18, 1992 meeting Conditional Use Request CU91 -22 (Ord. 92 -09) was
approved to allow the relocation of a 20 foot pole sign and to reconfigure the parking lot
planter islands. With this request the applicant proposed to replace the existing pole sign
with a 20 foot monument sign for increased visibility.
Mr. Hardy moved, with a second by Mr. Oliver, to approve Conditional Use Request CU04-
07, and the motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Oliver and Hardy
Nays: None

CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES
Next for the Committee to consider were the Site Plan Review Committee minutes of
February 25, 2004 meeting.
Mr. Hardy moved, with a second by Mr. Oliver, to approve the minutes of February 25, 2004
Site Plan Review Committee and the motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Oliver and Hardy
Nays: None
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to discuss, Mr. Hardy moved, with a second by Mr. Oliver, to
adjourn the meeting at 9:10 a.m. and the motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Oliver and Hardy
Nays: None
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE SITE PLAN REVIEW COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS ON THIS THE 28T" DAY OF APRIL, 2004.
