The Board of Zoning Adjustment for the City of Grapevine, Texas, met in
regular session November 7, 1988, at 307 West Dallas Road, Room #205,
Grapevine, Texas, with the following members present to wit:
Gerald Thompson
Chairman
Becky Swann
Secretary
Don Bigbie
Member
Raymond Truitt
Ist Alternate
constituting a quorum with Members Tim Hobbs, Charles Giffin, and Don
Frieden absent. The following City Staff was also pre-sent to wit:

Chairman, Gerald Thompson, called the meeting to order at 6:25 P.M.

The item of
old business for the Board of Zoning Adjustment to consider was
BZA 88-24,
submitted by Carswell Federal
Credit Union. This case
was
tabled at
the September meeting in order
to Crain clarification on
the
dedication
required by the Thoroughfare Plan. On October 18, 1988,
the
City Council
approved the amendment to the
Thoroughfare Plan reducing
Nash
Street from
a Type E Collector 75' minimum
right-of-way required to a
Type
F Collector
601 minimum right -of -way.
Joy Carroll explained that Richard Rogers of Carswell Federal Credit Union
is requesting that this case be tabled until the December 5, 1988, meting
in order to work with the Public Works Department regarding the street
dedication required on the plat.
After some discussion, Becky Swann made a motion to table BZA Case 88-24
until the meeting of December 5, 1988. Raymond Truitt seconded the motion
which prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Thompson, Swann, Bigbie, Truitt
Nays: None
Absent: Hobbs, Giffin, Frieden
Joy Carroll explained to the Board that the Board of Zoning Adjustment
Members receives agendas for the Planning and Zoning Workshop meetings so
they will be informed on the information being discussed.
The Board of Zoning Adjustment then met with the Planning and Zoning
Commission for a presentation from a Member of the Capital Improvement
Program Steering CaTmittee on the Capital Improvement Program.
The meeting was declared adjourned at 7:50 P.M.
