SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF A RESOLUTION FOR THE SALE OF CITY
SURPLUS PROPERTY AND FORFEITED EVIDENCE
RECOMMENDATION:
City Council to consider a resolution declaring the property listed in "Attachment A" as
surplus property and forfeited evidence and authorizes it sale through public auction.
BACKGROUND:
This request is to approve a resolution forte sale of surplus and forfeited evidence as
listed in Attachment A.
The City currently has several vehicles, equipment, furniture and computer equipment
ready for auction due to budgeted fleet replacements, equipmeta a or condition. Staff
has considered age, cost of operation and/or life to date maintenance costs when
classifying property as surplus. The other items are forfeited evidence from a closed
criminal case.
Staff recommends approval.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY I THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, DECLARING CERTAIN
PROPERTY AS SURPLUS AND FORFEITED EVIDENCE
AND PROVIDING. THE AUTHORIZATION TO DISPOSE
OF SAID PROPERTY AT AUCTION AND PROVIDING
EFFECTIVE DATE

possession of items that are no longer used and are of little or no value to the City are
