SUBJECT: ENGINEERING SERVICES CONTRACT — BASS PRO DRIVE
CONSTRUCTION TESTING SERVICES
RECOMMENDATION:
City Council consider approving an Engineering Services Contract with ECS, LLP in the
amount of $27,736.85 for engineering and material testing services during the
construction of Bass Pro Drive, authorize staff to execute said contract, and take any
necessary action.

BACKGROUND:
The scope of services for this contract includes all construction testing for the Bass Pro
Drive project between State Highway 121 and the Coppell city limits. The City of
Grapevine portion of the project consists of 1,750 feet of roadway widening and
reconstruction of the bridge over Cottonwood Branch.
ECS, LLP is a well qualified firm and have successfully performed work for the City of
Grapevine on other projects. They are currently providing testing services for the City of
Grapevine on the Glade Road project and will be providing the same services to the City
of Coppell on their portion of the Bass Pro Drive / Bethel Road construction project.
Staff recommends approval.
