SUBJECT: CONSIDER APPROVAL OF ADOPT-AN-AREA AGREEMENTS
RECOMMENDATION:
The Parks& Recreation Advisory Board and staff recommend the Council approve Adopt-
An-Area agreements with the following groups. Copies of the agreements are attached
for review.
Double Adoption — ReGeared and Moyer Family for McPherson Slough, from
Catfish Lane to the Lakeview Boathouse area
FUNDING SOURCE:
Adopt-An-Area signage would be placed at of ends oft ese areas. The total cost oft e
signage for this is annr ximately 't100 and will t_-or me fr 0 m the Grounds Maintenance
Account 100-42205-312-3.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The proposed agreement is fora period oft o years and requires the applicant to pick up
litter a minimum of six times per year. The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board approved
the agreement at their May 30, 2013 meeting. The Board and staff recommend approval
oft agreements.
