Any person who is not scheduled on the agen da may address the Senior Citizen
Advisory Board under Citizen Comments or on any other agenda item by completing
a Citizen Appearance Request form with the staff. A member of the public may
address the Senior Citizen Advisory Board regarding an item on the agenda either
before or during the Board’s consideration of the item, upon being recognized by the
Chairman or upon the consent of the Senior Citizen Advisory Board in accordance
with the Texas Open Meetings Act, the Senior Citizen Advisory Board is restricted in
discussing or taking action during Citizen Comments.

The City of Grapevine Parks & Recreation Senior Citizens Advisory Board met July 6, 2021 at 1:00
p.m. in The REC of Grapevine, 1175 Municipal Way, Grapevine, Texas with the following members
present, to -wit:

Constituting a quorum with the following members of City staff:

Tena Burrell called the meeting to order at 1:10 p.m.
A moment of silence was observed.
Citizen Comments
No Comments
Approval of Minutes
No meeting minutes to approve
Presentation
Trent Kelley and Hunter Hardeman gave a presentation on The REC and Active Adults covering how
adjustments were made to be able to continue certain services during COVID, as well as speak to
current programs and happenings.
PARD Update
Chris Smith gave an overview of July being Parks and Recreation month and updated the board on
some of the activities occurring. He also gave an update on the process for the Panhandle Park
development.
Miscellaneous
Duff O'Dell have a city council update — speaking to how the city continued to operate during COVID,
while moving forward on projects. Duff also have a brief update on the Housing Authority and GRACE
in the absence of those liaisons.

A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 2:00 p.m.
