SUBJECT: ONCOR EASEMENT — DOVE PARK
RECOMMENDATION:
City Council consider adopting a resolution dedicating an easement in Dove Park for
the exclusive use by ONCOR Electric Delivery Company, LLC to provide underground
electric service to the updated swimming pool complex, and take any necessary action.
BACKGROUND:
With the renovation of the Dove Pool Complex, electric power supply has been
redesigned to be placed underground to a new transformer pad site as reflected in the
attached exhibit.
This reroute of the power supply necessitates a new easement for the placement of the
ONCOR facilities on City property.
Staff recommends approval.

ONCOR EASEMENT
BEING A PART OF
LOT 1, BLOCK A
DOVE ROAD PARK ADDITION
Description of a 653 square foot tract of land out the Joel Hallum Survey, Abstract No. 722, in
the City of Grapevine, Tarrant County, Texas; said tract being a portion of Lot 1, Block A, Dove
Road Park Addition, an addition to the City of Grapevine, Tarrant County, Texas according to
the plat thereof recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 3002, Map records, Tarrant County, Texas and
being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
COMMENCING, at a 314 -inch iron rod found for a point of curvature on the east right -of -way line
of Sagebrush Trail (a 60 -foot wide public right -of -way at this point); said point being also a
corner of said Lot 1;
THENCE, South 00 degrees 21 minutes 46 seconds East, with said east right -of -way line and
the west line of said Lot 1, a distance of 450.25 feet to a the POINT OF BEGINNING;
THENCE, North 54 degrees 51 minutes 10 seconds East, a distance of 39.34 feet to a point for
corner;
THENCE, North 35 degrees 08 minutes 50 seconds West, a distance of 2.50 feet to a point for
corner;
THENCE, North 54 degrees 51 minutes 10 seconds East, a distance of 15.00 feet to a point for
corner;
THENCE, South 35 degrees 08 minutes 50 seconds East, a distance of 15.00 feet to a point for
corner;
THENCE, South 54 degrees 51 minutes 10 seconds West, a distance of 15.00 feet to a point for
corner;
THENCE, North 35 degrees 08 minutes 50 seconds West, a distance of 2.50 feet to a point for
comer;

RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, DEDICATING AN EASEMENT IN
DOVE PARK FOR ONCOR EQUIPMENT SERVING THE
PARK FACILITIES AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
WHEREAS, the renovation of the Dove Pool Complex located in Dove Park has
resulted in adjustments to Oncor's electric supply network to serve Dove Park; and
WHEREAS, the adjustments of Oncor's electric network necessitates the
dedication of a new easement for said network.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That an easement serving Oncor facilities planned to be
constructed in Dove Park as shown on the attached Exhibit "A" is hereby approved.
Section 2. That the City Manager is authorized to execute and record the
necessary documents to dedicate said easement.
Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 18th day of December 2012.
