SUBJECT: CONDITIONAL USE REQUEST CU15-10, GRAPEVINE
CRICKET FIELDS
Staff recommends the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council accept the
applicant's request to withdraw conditional use request CU15-10, and take any other
action necessary.

Conditional use request CU15-10 was submitted by Travis Attanasio of Bannister
Engineering for property addressed at 3420 Foxfire Lane, for a proposed 20 acre cricket
field complex with light standards and other outside sports related activities. The
applicant has elected to remove the outdoor lighting from the request which eliminates
the need for consideration through the conditional use process. The property is zoned
"RA" Recreational Use District and the non -illuminated cricket fields would be allowed as
a permitted use within the district on the subject property.

Per the direction of the Texas Cricket Academy (Developer), the Grapevine Cricket Fields project will be moving
forward without illumination, thus we are requesting that the Conditional Use Application be rescinded.
