HomeMy WebLinkAboutItem 12 - Texan TrailTXDOT Change Order #21 and Advanced Funding Agreement for Texan Trail ansixel .� TXDOT has prepared a change order to their construction contract for the Texan Trail widening to incorporate: • brick pavers in the medians as part of the future Texan Trail landscaping, • a second deceleration lane for right turns into the Grapevine Station development, and • improvements to the Wall Street intersection to accommodate current and future development. The City is paying for the cost for the pavers that will be incorporated into the design of the landscaping improvements for the medians. The City is paying one third of the cost of the Wall Street improvements in accordance with an existing developer agreement for the Wall Street expansion between Texan Trail and Eckley Street. The developer is paying for two thirds of the cost. The remainder of the change order for the deceleration lane to serve Grapevine Station is solely at the developer's cost. The developer funds are currently on deposit with the City. A summary table is shown below.
